Iron Maiden - Rock in Rio has remained as one of my all time favorites for sure. Great performance.

Iron Maiden - Final Frontier is the one and only show I've ever seen live, one of the best things I've ever seen. Didn't see it but this one is awesome. and then there is AC/DC's legendary Live at River Plate.
~1 million people in the crowd. 240p. And better than most music being released today

Tiesto = 'live music concert'? I am a DJ but I would not list DJs for 'best live music concert'...

Depends on what you like. I like differnt things, so some of mine would be:
Rush - Moving Pictures tour.
Maynard Ferguson - Any show; tightest band I've ever seen.
Metallica - Day on the green in SF.
John Denver - I was shocked at how good he was live.
Disturbed - Hope they get rested soon.
I hear Kiss puts on a good show, but never liked enough of their music to go to one.

Ah, how I wish I'd seen Moving Pictures Tour... Or Rush live in general.

I went to their concert in 2010. Time Machine Tour, they played the entire Moving Pictures. It was probably the best concert I went to.

Skindred - Trouble (@Sonisphere)
"When you go online and download all the fuckin music in the world yea? You can go on itunes, fuckin, kazaa, all that bollocks right? And download all the music in the worlds. But I'm gonna tell you this much.. You see the atmosphere that is created in this place? You will never download that!"
I've been to several concert of Skindred and it is always a blast, they know how to control the mood:)

Only been to 1 Iron Maiden show (no other live shows) and watching videos of shows live gives me shivers down the spine remembering the atmosphere at that show. Superb is an understatement.

That's what I love in Iron Maiden, they play to their full in every concert. Never a letdown, except what it comes to their setlist. It's usually the same classic songs unless they're on a new album tour. Still, I must praise them to be one of the best live bands ever walked on this planet.

Yeah I went to 3 concerts and they were awesome. Dance of Death tour in 2004 and Somewhere Back in Time tour in 2008 and 2009. Heaven Can Wait from the Flight 666 DVD/Blu-Ray is from the 2008 concert I went.
Although sometimes I feel the same about the setlists, there are some songs that they just CAN'T take off their concerts...
I remember saying something like this to my brother after the 2004 concert: "Well, that was fucking great, but there are at least 15 more songs that I wanted them to play. Hell, their concerts should have atleast 4 hours!"

Hah, indeed. I've seen them live 8 times, on 5 different tours... And still dreaming about their "best of" tour where they would play their absolute (personal) classics. Golden years had an ok list, but hell... why did they have to mix that with songs they repeate every tour? Every Maiden gig I've left, I've felt like Tony Stark. Disappointed and willing to kick some ass. Off topic, going to see Mr.Steve Harris on March the 18th, can't wait for that. Up the Irons btw /m/,

Also a band I'd kill to see live, especially on their golden days.

Seconded. My dad saw them play Wish you Were Here and Dark Side of the Moon in one show.
They did the sound testing by playing Echoes and they'd let everyone in as it was snowing. They announced that this was going to get loud and set it playing and turned it up. And up. And up.

The best concert I have ever been to was Rolling Rock Town Fair 2.0. Insane day, ungodly amount of people, brutally hot, and an entire day of awesome bands. The show featured Stone Temple Pilots, Live, Deftones, Incubus, Staind, Oleander and Tantric on the main stage but there were other bands on side stages too.
These videos show the insane crowd and some of the music. The crowd actually went behind the stadium seating and there was a whole fairground on a level area beyond that.
STP
Live, I Alone
Deftones

That's a hard question. I really enjoy Alice In Chains - MTV Unplugged, I enjoyed the most on The White Stripes concert in Ljubljana and Robert Plant's in Pordenone (I have an autograph, ha!). Aside from that I watched Foo Fighters Live At Wembley million times, same goes for Pearl Jam Live At Garden and probably my favorite music DVD: Ben Harper Live At The Holywood Bowl, just watch this and you will feel the energy: Temporary Remedy

Talking about unplugged, have you seen Queensrÿche perform acoustic? Simple perfection. Highly recommend youtubing that out. :)

Fuck Yeah! I travelled all the way to Mexico City (April 17th, 2012) just to see them. It was beautiful and the light show was some of the best I have ever seen (if not the best). Oh man, I just got chills as I remember that incredible day. :')

I ended up having to skip Refused when they played London last year because we already had tickets for Gorguts who were playing the same night. Absolutely gutted. :(

Haha. Obscura is one of the best death metal albums ever. :P
Having said that, and as glad as I was to see them, would have rather seen Refused instead. Ah well, not quite as much of a regret as a younger and stupider me walking away from Celtic Frost a few years back because they were "boring"... argh!

Great one, but the 2500 cameras are fucking annoying. They change almost every second.

Well I remember watching this when it was released and me and my gf were pretty pissed off because of this. lol
Apart from this, the concert, specially if watched in a decent 5.1 sound system, is awesome.

I've heard Daft Punk's concerts are always top notch and spectacular. Alive 2007 is still the best concert recording I've ever listened to.
