This might interest some people: Game Jolt (a site/community which hosts loads of free indie and homebrew games) has recently released a desktop client, which allows to browse the site, and install/run games, etc.
Is it awesome or is it awesome? ;-D I'm very happy with this personally, cause that means more exposure for my games, that I put there.

OK, ok, before someone says this - it's true that there are many games on GJ that most mainstream players would call "crap" or worse, there are many unfinished or just plain broken games too. On the other hand there are many very high quality games there, which can provide hours of fun, some of those games moved later to Steam too.
