Maybe he got burned there before? I still won't buy from GamersGate, for instance. Or maybe it's too much hassle for not good enough a deal? I passed on the Sanctum 2 season pass offer they had because I didn't feel like making a new account and I'm sure it'll be on sale over the Steam summer sale...

It's a steam redeemable key, which puts the game in your steam library. It just says you bought it retail under your steam account history rather than saying steam store. Where is the problem in that for you? I could understand if it was a game platform (origin/uplay) but it's just a steam key purchase from a reliable reputable retailer.

Yeah, Gamefly just gives you a key by email. They give you the option to DL from their client.

Skyrim can only be played on steam regardless of where you purchase it. Same for all "steamworks" games.

Either way, they will sell Legendary cheaper than Base + DLC. I assume 50-66% on those and 50% on Legendary
