its no biggie, it is only episode 1 that you get free on xbl and ios, you still have to buy the other 4 episodes which would work out to more money than just buying the complete season on steam anyway

...I still don't have an Xbox console (so I can't actually play this), but it was kind enough to add it through my Live account (used for GFWL stuff) for whenever (if) I do get an Xbox.

It says 'Full Game- The Walking Dead' is also free? Would it only allows you to play the first episode though?

The full game is essentialy episode 1. The other episodes are listed as add-ons.

Rather sneaky. I noticed it after I clicked the description. I guess at the time of release, it was the full game essentially if episode one was the only one available, lol.

the first episode is the game, the other four episodes are DLC. Because the Live service has a consistent achievement system across platforms this was to contain the game as one and not have five seperate entries in a users game list. There's nothing sneaky about it.

Can't get it, apparently Microsoft wasn't informed that the PEGI system was a guideline for parents, and not a law. Retail copies get a special treatment though, I can play 18+ games just fine. I'm sick of all this XBLive bs Microsoft has been pulling on me. I filled in the information on my profile correctly and I keep getting punished for it.

PEGI is actually law in several countries. Here in the UK it used to be merely a guideline with only the BBFC rated titles being legally restricted, however as of July it became legally enforceable.

Well, luckily it's not over here, but Microsoft clearly wasn't informed. Let's just hope the first episode will become free for PC eventually.
