I'll be getting into this one as soon as I get my new PC...sometime near christmas hopefully :s Also, those of you saying it's not F2P, can it, the pre-order isn't for the actual game, it's 1) Guaranteed Beta Access and 2) Lifetime VIP Access, which sounds freaking sweet for $30

As a promotion during Closed Beta, any player who purchases Gold or Boosters for real money will receive lifetime VIP status upon that purchase."

From my perspective paying for it seems..unnecessary in terms of game content received but I probably will anyways because it's Tribes. In 2011. By good devs.

I have a similar problem OP, I've got a beta key but when i download the client it says "Failed to start the Hi-Rez Studios Authenticate and Update Service"
Aynone else got the same problem or a solution?
Also ill give the beta key to someone for MW3 HEHE

Since people are trying to hock their Tribes Ascend beta keys here, I just wanted to mention that you should keep in mind that TA keys are now being given out in large quantities for free by certain gaming websites. (Same thing with Star Wars: The Old Republic "stress test" beta weekend keys.)
