Puzzles n' stuff?

How does one really go about making a puzzle? That's a serious question, I mean you get five letters or numbers, or a medley of them, and you're supposed to make something up. So, I guess I'll try.

For all of this, you will probably need Google, Wikipedia, and/or Youtubes. Just because. Or knowledge of retrogaming.

These are in order.

1. Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic was released in the USA as which Super Mario Bros. game?

2. NES Cave style SHMUP from 1985 that had a Helicopter with smartbombs that visibly disappeared from the helicopter. Somethin' about an animal too.

3. I can't defeat this boss. No matter how hard I try. I'll try again, of course, but this is my plan, I'll keep my E-Tanks saved in reserve for as long as I can. Oh this is in English.

4. This classic shmup was released in 1982, appearing on the NES, and a few other consoles and in the Arcade. It was also one of the first of it's kind to actually scroll vertically.

5. As for robot help, dogs are much preferred 'Cause I can't do shit with a robot bird!

Should be easy. I will need more people to help with the other games I give away.

I won't be giving out any further edits or hints. If you can't get it for any rhyme or reason (I double checked the format and code btw) then...You did something wrong. Some of these are lyrics, but not many.
