Two months ago, I was deciding betwen similiar laptop brands as you are, except that I was looking at 15" (Best buy for the price considering battery performance/overheating/gpu performance, </> price). The thing with cheap laptops with good performance for the price is that they tend to have bad build quality and they tend to overheat.
When buying a laptop you first need to know what you will use it for, and what not, what is important to you and what not, such as battery life, transport, matt/glance screen, looks, durability, performance, materials, speakers, usb ports, all the small things you might not even care about now might matter to you a lot once you get it in your hand.
This is a site that should be handy for you http://www.notebookcheck.net/ . I used it a lot to compare laptops that i put on short list and i ended up buying Lenovo y510, a low budget model(around 1000$). Very satisfied with it!
Good luck!

MSI GS70 looks pretty good, though it exceeds your budget by a bit.
From your EDIT 4, the laptop has less powerful graphics than the first two laptops. Bigger screen, but less powerful graphics. I would go for the laptop with the stronger graphics, and has a decent screen size, which is the MSI GS70 (17.3 inch and GTX 765M). Of course, what the other peeps have suggested are also good choices.
If you want to choose something else, I especially like bigzgod's 1st laptop. HD8970M and for 1740 USD, pretty damn beastly.

the MSI laptop looks to be the best one of the ones you put up

I love the Sager that people here recommended to me. I got this one with the free 1TB HDD upgrade and Windows 7. What's also nice about Sagers is that you can customize them to a pretty high degree and have a computer you are truly happy with.
Feel free to check out some others on the site as well, my budget was a bit lower than yours so you probably could get one a bit higher end than my own.

Honestly, unless you 100% NEED a laptop for other reasons besides gaming, I would really suggest investing in a quality desktop rig. You can almost always find a decent monitor for cheap, and almost any keyboard you can find will be better than a laptops. Down the road if you ever have to replace/upgrade any component you will save yourself such a headache, not to mention you can always just add more ram or another hard drive whenever you want.
But, if a laptop is your only option, then make sure you also pick up a really good cooling pad. Almost every high performance laptop has a really high risk of overheating.
