Hey guys, so I just bought a new pc. I installed the mobo and gpu drivers and then when i started playing some games, the game freezes every 2 second and makes a "boop boop" sound, it looks like it's from windows or something.
I tested bf4 first then gta4.
I don't know what's the problem, the cpu cooler is making too much noise by the way and i don't know why it's doing that, can someone help me please?

PC specs:

gpu: Asus 7790 1gb
motherboard: Gigabyte 78LMT-S2P
cpu: FX-4300 (bought a cheap cooler with it)
psu: corsair vs 550w

Install CoreTemp and GPU-Z and get them to log your temperatures.
Also, you may have bought a cooler for your CPU, but you did also remember to get thermal paste right?

I guess not-enough power on full usage situations (like gaming) but we really cannot help you based on just "some beeping sound" - you should run full diagnostics soft while playing games to find what the actual issue is, as it can be nearly everything (different mobos have different beeps for different things).

Maybe it's the StickyKeys thing where you press a button a bunch of times in a row. See if it pops up when you press the Shift button really fast like 5 times. It might come up when you play games.

Could you check the specs for the PSU as well, please?

If you have the restore point, try reverting to old drivers, then try the games. Then install one new driver at a time and test the games again.

Under BIOS Setup Utility > Advanced tab > Chipset > Southbridge configuration > Primary Graphics Adapter. Choose the option [PCIE -> PCI -> IGP].

The external video card isn't always activate by default , You need to set your external video card to be the primary instead of the integrated card. This sounds like the issue and is very common when someone builds a computer for the first time to forgo this step.

always try some better forums that can actually help you, why on earth would you ask here?
