Picky or random

I had about 300 for about 2 months. I already won enough games. In my opinion I should start playing them before I can allow myself to enter another giveaway.

I've been around 6 months and have entered 1256 giveaways, divide that by 3 to get how many I might have entered at two months and it is 419. I say too picky.

This. If your points are hovering, then you're entering ~10% of the giveaways on the site, and where your points are hovering is fairly meaningless. I'd aim to hover at or above 60 in case someone puts up a game you really want, but sitting on points does you no good.

All giveaways are charity - as long as you want to play what you're entering for, you really aren't hurting anybody or yourself. Don't spend points for the sake of spending them, and don't hoard them for the sake of having a stockpile.

I'd say that Flanlord's is the best advice for points. I typically end up hovering just above 60 too, but the boost in points from the holiday sale has left me hovering around 200.

I choose games that interest me, I dont enter for games I know that I wont play them.

sounds like just fine. enter the ones you want and as long as you have enough points for an awesome giveaway(50ish) you'll always be fine. ive only entered 146 in 3 months here

I only enter games I have some interest in. No point in "stealing" games I won't enjoy from someone who really wants to play them.
