the key will not expire, but it will not say if its invalid or not ^^. it will just bring you to the download page of the game ^^

thats not correct... i just got Kane and Lynch 2 Dog Days today.... i owned the game already in my steam... so but i know the key was a key for german and english language... so i tried to redeem it. and it worked... it dont says i own the product already... it activated as an Kane and Lynch 2 Dog Days Retail EFIS. But you are right in the most cases it says "Product already owned"

You wouldn't waste the key, it would just say "Account already owns product"

It's weird how it's always the case that some of those obvious features aren't there, while more obscure features are XD

Try it. If its activate, you had an different Version as Key... If its the same Version, it says "Product already owned"

I need to check game key for validity, but i already have the game on my account and i dont want to waste the hey.
If i try to add this game, will it show me if the key is correct, but i have the game already ( or sth silimar, any validity confirmation) ? Or the key will expire/waste?
