How to fix re-download problem of an undamaged game on Steam?

Hello there!

On Steam, i had to change languages for a few times. Because of that, silly Steam changed some games' language options in properties automatically. But after reverting them to previous one and hit play/verify; it fixed itself.

After a while i saw Red Orchestra 2 on list. It hasn't any language option for my current language but it just appeared on my downloads list. And it tries to download the whole game now! How can i fix this issue? Please share your ideas.

Well this is not really a fix, but next time you should make a backup of the folder if you're planning on changing game files. I always do that before modding a game, just incase it messes up.

I didn't change game files, i didn't even touch them. I just changed Steam interface language.

Are you sure its downloading the whole game? RO2/RS multiplayer got an 8.5 GB update today or yesterday

Its been like that for quite a while. We have "weeaboos" here that stay in line with Japanese culture, so it was happening around the time Japanese started noticing her.

It's not the only problem. In this city (and time by time in this country) there are many people who see internet as only Facebook etc. so our quota is 4 GBs/week. That's ridiculous. And the "internet guy" insist that 4 GB is enough. I'd say "go kill yourself ****" but he was pathetic in every way so, i decided to don't touch him even with my words.

Funny part: If you use your whole 4 GBs of quota, you can't reach internet anymore. Tch.

But in that case, yeah, very slowly. About two or three weeks.

My fix in case Steam ceases to see the game I really have:
1) find the game in your steamapps/ folder;
2) rename it (e.g. add one random symbol at the end);
3) delete the game via Steam interface;
4) rename the folder back;
5) reinstall the game via Steam interface.
Usually everything goes smooth, but sometimes I still have to redownload the whole game (or its corrupted part).

Oh, smart way to be sure if it's really corrupted or not. Thank you, i'm trying it right now.

edit: It was 8.6 GBs, and now download size increased to 9.6 GB. :(
