that would be my first guess if it won't even POST.
when was the last time you (OP) cleaned out the dust in your PC, graphics card, etc. if there's a rat's nest in there it could quickly lead to overheating if you're playing a game for instance.

Sounds like the Power Supply to me, too. They don't last forever, unfortunately. (
If the computer ran fine, but only for a limited time, I'd say it was overheating and shutting off the GPU, but the description makes it sound like the problem is "always there." The only way to be sure, of course, is to test the components, but PS would be my first guess.

Well, basicaly guessing from your description, everything can be broken, but IMHO the most possible ones are GPU and/or motherboard. There is no such thing as magical shortcut, or anything, have it diagnosed and if it's still worth it repaired.

My guess is the GPU. I had a dieing motherboard last month myself and that giva me BSOD 0x124s (which is quite normal I learned recently). Also a mention of PSU is in this thread, but I doubt that one.
IMO OP should unplug the GPU and use the onboard one (if he has one) of use an other GPU (lend from a friend down the block?) to test if he gets visuals again. If yes then it's clearly his GPU, if no then it's soomething else and might be motherboard or PSU.

Both assume you've got a desktop pc, not a laptop. And both will help tell if your motherboard is hosed or if it's the GPU.

Seems a hardware issue, unplug everything and leave only yhe Processor, motherboard and PSU connected (and a monitor of course), if you see image then something else is the issue.

I'd say it could be a Power Supply or Fan problem.

Computer is working in background. I hear fan working silently too. The problem is in no sound when turning on and no graphics. Also to everyone else Im using one thing with 5 contacts at once. My PC is without power supply.

I had a similar problem to where you said graphics were gone, but the PC would be running. I'd be playing a game and all of a sudden my monitor said "No signal input" but I still heard audio. Searched around a little bit and something suggested to separate the power cables in the case, I did that and unplugged my monitor from a power strip my PC is plugged into, and plugged that into something separate. The problem is gone :)

Im writing to you, becouse maybe someone of you know what to do and I just want QQ. 2 months ago my PC start shuting down w/o reason. Just graphic gone away and PC was still running. Only restart worked. I thought it was just a little problem and I dont need to do something. You cant imagine how big fool I was... 3 days ago PC dont wanted to turn on. Everything worked except graphics and that sound from computer. After some minutes it worked again. Today when I was playing, I heard just a shut down of computer. Whole day and nothing. Cant open bios. Anyway PC is running but in cabage mode - only sound of cooling (not so loud). Maybe some of you know magical shortcut like pressing combinations of keys to repair it? Im just desperate... Thank you for reading this!
Edit: It was fan problem... Cleaned and it worked!
