No. It will ruin your life, your eating habits will be messed up, you will gain too much weight, and you can forget about your sexual life because you will not have any!!!
Seriously though, don't you know how to search? If not this site, then Google maybe? This question has been asked a million times.

Ultimately it SHOULDN'T cause an issue since VAC bans are based on 3rd party programs that hook onto the running game's EXE and this wouldn't interact with any running programs (aside from Steam itself).
All that being said, I don't run it while I have ANY games running because even the tiniest risk isn't really worth it for me since I can just run it later overnight but truly the risk is little to none.

it seems slow, i ran it for like 4 hours and got only 3 cards, and only when I set it up to run only 1 game at a time, when it was running a bunch of games at the same time for around 2 hours i did not get anything, not even 1 low profile card..

Thats because after refunds where implemented changes where made so cards didn't drop within the two hour refund period.,

It is supposed to run all unplayed games together for an hour or two, I forget how long but it's pretty smart at knowing what it takes to most efficiently idle your games. Depending on the state of your account (any recent refunds, the eligibility of certain games for refunds, possibly other things?) you may not get any cards in the first couple hours of idling.
Either way like I said, Idle Master tends to compensate for these things, only switching to single-game mode when you're eligible for card drops.

Cards do not drop within the first 2 hours since the refunds were introduced. That's why IdleMaster will idle all your games together for that first 2 hours to save time. The it will run every games individually because having more than one game opened at once will reduce the drop rate.

Then maybe amount of actual users would convince them?
I should probably stop trying to make people's life easier.

No, the cool kids want software that can auto-update itself and provide a nice GUI. ASF is for geeks. :P

Yes but ask this yourself is it worth it letting it run for 6 hours for just 0.20$????

As opposed to not running it and making nothing? Also cards aren't that cheap, come on :p

And not running it will provide you with... nothing. So 0.20$ is definitely better than nothing. (Plus, you're going to make a lot more than that on a 6-hour idle)
I usually start it before I go to bed and by the time I get back from work the next day it's usually done and I can use the cards.

Yes. Don't run a VAC-securd game while it's running though!
