Hey everyone!
I've tried to trade these but no one seems to be interested so I'm just going to give them away. I've got all the Humble Indie Bundles - except for the first one - in form of Desura Keys, and since I'm not using them I don't see why I should let them be covered in dust. The games are great!
Also coming up: ONLive Keys (does anyone use it?)

Have fun and Enjoy! :)

Here's the first one, I'll be adding them at random time intervals.

Humble Indie Bundle #2 - Desura Key : 0b1c4cde9c834b0c730004c3e50cff34 (Taken)

11:05 AM 24/07/2012 GMT+1 : Humble Indie Bundle #3 - Desura Key : HIB3A-6XIY4-DWGB3-UTL9U-SBRB3 (Taken)

--> NEW KEY --> 19:42 PM 25/07/2012 GMT+1 : Humble Introversion Bundle - Desura Key : INTRO-3DLJN-1LIP6-NRKV2-ICJM7 (Taken)

The next one is going to be a good one: DUNGEONS OF DREDMOR Desura Key. I'm going to do something fancy for it if I've got time this weekend, like a text-based adventure or an HTML5 game. If it's not in the weekend, it's going to be sometime next week, so stay tuned! :)

On a sad note, I've just noticed that all the bundles beyond the third do not have Desura keys :( Sorry about that!

1 Desura key = 1 Steam key = 1 copy/owner only

So if you activate on one it doesn't work on the other? I didn't know that! :(

Indeed, but
a) I'm kind of out of the trading game, I've met tons of sharks wanting to trade me worthless stuff for some good games. I've bought most of the games I wanted anyway, I'm just missing C&C3 :P
b) It seems that if it's not Steam stuff, it holds no real value for the traders
c) I need positive karma :D

I think indie games are always undervalued by others especially those only available on desura

And that's a shame, because they're giving new life to the gaming industry. I don't personally use Desura but it seems to be a great platform for indies, and a good game is always a good game, no matter which distribution platform it uses!

I absolutely agree with you. I hope Desura will be more popular.

Most keys U get for Desura are only "one copy". You can even see what user got the copy. Desura keys will fly as fast af steam ones mostly. Giveaways kinda suck, because of the damn ninjas & random a$$holes. Do they need the game? Do they like the game? Will they ever play the game? NO, NO, NO. Most of them ninja all the keys & then trade/sell them off.

I'd make a regular contest but It's against the rules of the site. Maybe I'll come up with something funny, I don't know :D
I still don't get the "one copy" thing though :(

1 key = 1 game/bundle for 1 person. Most keys are unique, can be used only once. If you can activate it before anyone else, you get the game. Some keys have a limited number of activations. Like E54G3-45GFWE-RSH89-48dJ3, key can be activated 300 times, so 300 people can get the game. And so on...

Ah, I see, just as with Steam! I imagined so, I didn't even know there were keys with multiple activations!
Anyway, It'll be a Game of Ninjas for the fastest one...

thats precisely my point. You say that ninjas get the keys and then sell/trade them. Thats not possible.

Ninjas take the keys and redeem it just because they enjoy doing it, maybe they find it's fun to compete for a key

Account are sold 2. Lots & lots. Steam winter sale was crazy. People were mining coal with like billion account & later sold the remaining ones of with like a few games etc.

It appears that if it's not a Steam code it's worthless to most. Go figure :)

I know, but I don't think I'm doing anything bad by giving them away. It's not like I'm gaining any profit from this, not even contributor credit, which is something many people supercharge by gifting games bought on sales at ridiculously low prices. In the process I am also having people notice Desura (which is not a bad thing) and give someone the possibility to play indie games they might not have played otherwise - and indie games need all the attention they can get.

There are far worse abuses of the HIB system, such as buying bundles and SELLING them or trading the Steam Keys (even though they recently fixed that, thank goodness).
