A few days ago I started sharing libraries with my friend. So, I decided to download and play Rust from his library. Well, I kinda linked the game and decided to buy Rust, but I think that the game already being on my friend's library kinda bugged it, because now it doesn't appear to me. I bought it using my Steam Wallet funds but, it doesn't appear on my lirabry or in my profile. I don't wanna send a ticket to steam, since I know how long they take to answer us. All I got is the purchase receipt. Please help me!

Steam is bugging today some games don't appear in library when added, seen three other people confirming this.

Try installing it via steam://install/252490 command (copy it in a chat and then click), maybe that will fix it.

No, it didn't. I used Steam Wallet Funds, I thought it would be immediately added to my account.

Then contact Steam Support. If it's not showing in your account purchases, yet the funds have been removed, they're the only ones that can help you.

Yeah. Even that I know it's going to take some days to that delayed support to answer me, I've contacted them.

No, it doesn't. But as my I used to play Rust from my friend's library, it shows the analysis thing where I can say my opinion about the game. and I click on that Activity button to see what friends are doing, there is one notification that tells everybody I've bought Rust.

Well, if the green bar is not there, then you do need to contact steam support for it.

I remember the longest delay time for steam to get my game in my inventory was 5 hours. I don't know why but most of time it automatically is added to your lib or inventory but I had two experiences that was delayed. The one took 3 hours for me to get, another took 5 hours...Just be patient and you can contact steam support.

If it's in your account details ("transaction history"), then it will be added. It's probably some database problem the store servers are having. If it's still not appearing after a day, then you should open a ticket for sure.

Btw, it has nothing to do with the Steam Wallet. I bought games with Steam Wallet money before, they were all added immediately, just like when paying with a credit or debit card. So it really sounds like a database update problem on Valve's side.

The same case happened to me. I mean, almost same, the game I got is Condemned Criinal Origins (Steam gift, from my friend). I added it into my library. But the subscription list doesn't show it, although the activity list indicates that I added it into my library. You can add me on steam to see.

Well, I created a ticket anyway.
