You definitely should buy regular edition. Who needs those DLC's anyway? You may spend that 3 dollars on a bubble wrap. Nothing can make you happier than bubble wrap. Well, actually you better not to buy Borderlands at all and buy bubble wrap instead.

GOTY - it costs really the same as DLC pack on GMG (with -20% code), or is even cheaper if you buy in euro. its better to spend this 1$ more now than buying DLC's later for the price higher than the original game

GOTY for sure. Market is flooded with crappy rehashed maps, weapon/costume retextures and so useless content, borderlands has amazing dlc's ( all of them toghether have roughly the same duration than the single game ) that you should buy when the price difference is so minimal

OF course GOTY. It's not like other games. They do not put Costumes, Weapons, shitty maps as DLC's, they made entire campaigns which extend the gameplay by almost 5-8 hours. EACH! (Or, as in my case, 30 hours just killing the "Secret final boss" in the General Knoxx DLC) You can enjoy the hell out of this game. You can even play the whole campaign AGAIN with a new character. It's even more fun the second time.

I just beat Boarderlands and all its DLCs yesterday. I have to say that General Knoxx DLC sucked! but the rest were really good. The claptrap DLC was really funny.

GOTY all the way. It has some awesome DLCs. The only one that I did not play was the Arena one. All other were amazing additions to the game.

If you go GotY version, just remember to get the deactivation tool for some of the DLC, Steam doesn't deactivate on uninstall for you (or so I have read). You are limited to 5 installations due to the SecuROM DRM on some of the DLC.
