It creates a lot of unnecessary threads when people re-create their group recruitment. So you should not create new thread every now and then and close the old one. It's users who decide if they want to interact with the content, and you should update one thread description if you have notifications or new information, to keep everything organized.

You can choose to either post all updates in this thread, or close it and re-open the one that had 170 replies. But all new recruitment threads will be closed.
