Does anyone is up to date about steam market and overall items from CS2.
I found out, that at least most of the cases are dropping in price like straight down.
About skins it is going down the same, but depends on items prices are not going that fast lower.

Is there any resonable explanation of this situation? As i checked you still may get weekly drop 1 weapon case and grafitti or random skin (from chosen pool).

Is it time to sell your saved items or they may get higher in time? What do you think guys. Let me know in comments below.
I appreciate any serious answers. Please do not send memes or jokes.
Cheers.

I can agree, cause i can't check all items from counter-strike.
I'm just confused i couldn't find any good info about this happening now.

For example Fracture Case went down around 40% in 2 months? Especially in January.

The fracture case is an active drop, so there's no reason to invest in that. It drops in price because it's one of the most dropped cases atm.

Although the prices have dropped across the market, but it would make sense why they'd drop for active drops, and not for inactive or rare items, other than what I mentioned in my comment below. Basically the market is experiencing a semi-crash which could end up being the end for the cs2 market.

I may consider this answer. Seems abandoned to me also.

Every week a Case is dropped for each player playing the game...
So is normal that if its more Cases in market the price decrease, that can pass with every item that increase their existences (stock). More stock less value.
But that is not the case with very rare drops skin from cases. Or others skins that are Not very rare, but are very demanded, like nice skins, shinny ones, or the ones that uses the streamers and pros, etc...
at least this is my experience over 10 years of cs, skins and items market.

The more common cases drop in price as you're pretty much guaranteed to get one every week. Though the ones that have a very low drop chance (those outside of the active drop pool) still keep their price, especially the CS:GO weapon case and Bravo Case.

I mean, no operation in 2+ years(?) and no relevant new content since forever, going from csgo to cs2 players have lost arms race, danger zone, tons of community mods and support, premier is full of cheaters, the new ranking system is worse than the previous one, etc. and the mod team is being completely absent about it unless they're showing off on twitter or reddit about some really insignificant performance thing they have fixed, which will just break again in 2 weeks, instead of having spent those 2 weeks working towards again, an operation. Also no new tournaments, etc. If the game receives no support from the devs, why should people invest into it, and why should those who have invested not sell their items? Gaben is busy giving love to dota 2, but it's CS that carried the platform until now. Also the new drop system makes it easier to get certain drops or rarer drops basically, since now you choose from a pool of 4 items instead of random 2 and set, so now people can optimize to get the best items(although they're most of the time pretty bad and that's normal).

So coming from someone who looked at the market for a long time, unless they start making some changes to bring some of those old features back, and provide some new engaging content, I can imagine the game will keep on dying, which is probably what they want despite how much money it generates them, as they have only gotten in problems with csgo over the years and the market. My guess is it's going to just get worse, as the recent tournaments for instance have had millions of capsules sold. Millions, yet, only a few thousand have been applied. I remember seeing an inventory with 100k items for the paris tournament.

On top of all this, add the release of new games like lethal company, palworld, etc. giving players who have been craving some update or anything for 2+ years, and they finally have a reason to be afk from the game, sell their skins to buy other games, etc. Plus of course, the winter sale, and upcoming sales.

I mean the qualifiers for the next official major have happened. It was online qualifiers and apparently a large chunk of teams that registered had cheaters...

I do agree on some of the other points though, Valve released a half-baked game, and completely replaced global offensive with it.
Essentially no gamemodes apart from premiere, no community server browser (well, 1 broken, out-of-game server browser), broken a lot of extra gamemodes with source 2, like surf/ bhop, as well as a lot of others. What Valve released does not adequately replace what they took away when removing CSGO.

As for the operations, it is my opinion they won't release a new one until they have 'ported' more of the gamemodes over (such as arms race/ danger zone/ etc) as what would the operation missions be otherwise?
I'm sure Valve is working on getting it back to some state similar to GO, but you can tell their primary focus is the competitive matchmaking gamemodes, like premiere. So I guess all we can do is wait and see.

Cases would go up but usually after a while for example I have a breakout case back like 10 years ago it worth like 0.05 cents, now it worth 5.91 $

It may be.
I tested CS2 yesterday and it is not that fun as it should be. As someone above wrote about missing 'additional content' Arms Race, Danger Zone and more.
