nope, asking if someone has a key is the same as asking for it. especially since he said he wants one for his nephew.
i mean, what would he do if someone told him that he has one? most likely ask for it or maybe trade for it. both isn't allowed on SG. Hence the suspension.
im rather surprised that none of the first comments pointed that out for him. or my Russian is just that bad. instead im amazed at how quick the suspension followed.

You're right,your Russian is really bad.He did not BEGG for key.He just asked if someone HAS the key.That makes the difference,especially concidering that he said he knows,that beggin is not allowed at this site from the beginning!

You're wrong. We don't know is he planning to buy it for smaller cost than stores have or just interesting or something else.

What is the sense of asking it someone has one, if it isnt about trying to get one from them?
whether the other party would be willing to gift it, trade for it or even if he wanted to buy the key from them... all of those are not allowed.

asking users for keys is not allowed. asking users if they have one with the given context is the same as asking for it... like i stated above.
the part you underlined about "unless they are offering" etc. talks about the one who owns the key as in:
"hey, i have a spare key. anyone wants it?". this is totally fine
but not "has anyone a spare key? someone would be willing to give/trade/sell it to me". this is not allowed.
the other underlined parts are also for owners of keys. it simply says they are not allowed to make trade or sell offers on this site.

Не обращай внимания,видимо автор затупил и не увидел,что раз раздел TRADES убрали,то спрашивать кого-то о наличии чего-то
будет черевато сразу баном,а не банальным предупреждением и ссылкой на правила.Яркий пример западных санкций(ни в коей мере не привлекаю политику,но просто менталитет у них такой сейчас по отношению ко всем русским)

Соглашайтесь сколько угодно, но сам автор прекрасно понимал, что он делает, и понимал, что это карается блокировкой, о чём сам прямо написал в заголовке. Мне, если честно, непонятно, что это было за помутнение рассудка такое - ладно бы это какой-то новорег просил, но тут человек явно же в курсе как тут всё устроено. Может это не он просил, а тот самый племянник за комп сел?

And by the way,I always thought Steamgifts is a Community of people,gethered to help people who want to share to others.Isn't that right anymore?During this month I saw a couple of beggars,when some new people,not knowing this site tried to ask for some games directly,but moderators just told them to follow the rules and delete their conversation and no one was banned.And now the guy,who has 4500+ on his account and gave more than 2500 games to others asked if somebody has a key for the game he already has,banned in minutes.I belive that's strange!

This guy is a good friend of mine and I just asked him why did you do that,he wrote to me that he couldn't find the Trade section on this site,and decided to ask on the main page if someone has the key and he could trade with him for some of his keys.He just never did this before,and that's it!
