That's hard to believe actually. It runs well on my 3 years old android phone which was mid-range at the time of purchase. I suggest you try it in an incognito window with all extensions/addons disabled. It could also be some compute heavy process you're running (bitcoin mining? anti-virus? malware?). Or maybe your PC is in fact an actual potato... ;-)

Am i dumb for being able to get to Boomer class and not Shooter class? In any case, i've been thinking on this for too much, gonna go sleep and look at this with fresher eyes haha, if you feel like giving a new hint i'd love it hahaha

Not gonna lie doom without soundtrack is no doom at all. That first game is amazing. Insane experience and how the genre truly took off.
With that said, DoomRL is mandatory to be mentioned here, its a community made roguelike of the game and its absolutely mindblowingly good. Its one of the best dooms out there, and its true to its spirit down to the last core. Probably one of the most underrated roguelikes ever made.

When I played this in the 90's, the CD rom had a direct audio cable, so I just played Black Sabbath's Greatest Hits in there and it came out of the PC speakers wonderfully. If I remember right (and I rarely do), Nine Inch Nails did the music for Quake.
