I was on the right track but didn't piece 1 + 1 together.... superfun and clever puzzle and I love the way you're wording your hints. Clearly, you want people to solve the puzzle but it still remains to be a puzzle that requires some effort. Nicely done and thanks for making me revisting Doom after all those years.... Such a groundbraking game!

Oh, the shooter class one was a pain. A lot of people are having trouble with it, not because it is difficult to do, but it's difficult to figure out exactly what we are meant to do. Even with the hints, I was confused about what exactly I was supposed to do and then just kind of got it by accident. I don't want to say what to do since it's not my puzzle, but the 3 hints posted here may help if you haven't already read them.

Solving for the Shooter class train code by guided DOOM meditation
For starters stop harrasing that poor skull with the glowing eyes! If you don't know what I'm talking about, you're all the better for it.
At this point it would be a good idea to dim the lights, or even turn them off completely, so as to leave just the light from the screen as the only source of illumination in the room. This will get you in the right mood. It's important.
Now, reload the DOOM game website. Whatever you do, DO NOT TOUCH THE KEYBOARD!
Just wait for the demos to start running.
You may move your mouse slightly if/when the screensaver kicks in, only enough to keep the screen visible. NOTHING MORE!
Breath!
Clear your mind!
Soak in the flow of action!
Marvel at the precise shooting!
Revel in the agony of demons being shred to tiny giblets!
Imagine the smell of cordite in the air! the stench of rotting flesh and spilled demon blood!
Smell it!
Listen to the nuanced screams of the fragged!
Let this wash over you!
DO NOT CLOSE YOUR EYES! this is not that kind of meditaion! this is DOOM meditation! the best and most effective there is!
Breath!
DO NOT THINK ABOUT THE CODE!

You will have a few seconds of respite between demos, during which you can psych yourself for the next demo. Make good use of that brief period, and then let the next demo take over your being. It's the totallity of the experience that counts!
