Is it true, that you won`t get any points in a group giveaway, when there is only 1 entry?

You will never get contributor value if the giveaway ends with only one entry. Doesn't matter if it's a public, group or private giveaway.

Well, I have never seen a public giveaway end with one entry, so I'm not completely sure about this one. I guess there's really no point in pondering about this, since I don't think we will ever see a public giveaway with just one entry. :I

I thought the minimum of 2 entries rule was introduced so people can't just gift games to their friends for contributor value. If you give 2 copies and 2 friends enter and you get contributor for it, then that rule is useless.

You can get the values for the 2 copies, but the 48 copies remaining are not distributed and can be used again.
