This one has some whitelist gibs for whoever's already on this one's whitelist. However, this one is also open to whitelisting more if you can provide this one with a good light novel to read.
Also, here are two public gibs, and then this one is the invite only gib.

"I am planning an event. But I am tired. I'm also worried that the full cv will be gone by the time I finally get on with writing the event for them threads. So here, to my whitelists, the Tier 3s of the HB Rockstar Bundle. My hamsters are getting more tame with my daily hand taming sessions so that is quite pleasing. Also, do recommend me Light Novels as I am running out of good ones, and fast. Ones I adore are Overlord, DanMachi, and the one I just binged is a Korean novel Dungeon Defense. All fun and games really. For those who read the description, the answer to this is what I binged."

Edit; Wow them overnight commentss, I can’t respond to all, but I’ll just just say that effort will be recognised soooo

Log Horizon and NGNL _ loved them! (at least the anime adaptions xD gotta admit that I'm too lazy to read them online .-. I prefer physical books)

As a recommendation: Toaru Hikūshi e no Koiuta [English title: The Pilot's Love Song]
I personally - again - only saw the anime but some of my friends read the lightnovel and really liked it so I guess this could work :P

Do you have any topic or particularity that you would like to read about?

I am interested in politics and economic, so story about nation building, or related to national security draws me in. Some examples are Spice and Wolf, Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha no Oukoku Saikenki or Koushaku Reijou no Tashinami. I only read the manga for these series, since novels require more time commitment, but I guess they should be good read if you have time and can find translation for them.

Meta-light novel are also interesting for me. Some examples I have read are Imouto Sae Ireba Ii and Ranobe no Pro. The two feature constrasting type of LN author, and they are quite interesting reads, though the former has more of an edge in my opinion.

Genjitsu Shugi Yuusha and Koushaku Reijou look very interesting, and that comes from someone who usually despises isekai and reincarnation LNs.

I can see a these two trends with isekai/reincarnation LNs:

  • 俺TUEEEE (I'm so freaking strong). The character may get to that point with cheats or powers granted upon arriving at the new world, or progressively gets stronger to the point of OP.
  • MC is just a normal person, except that since they arrived from another world, they have the knowledge people of this world don't have, and they make use of the knowledge to change the world.

I guess you hate the first type and prefer the second type.

I don't like either type. In the second case I usually feel that isekai / reincarnation is overdone and a lazy excuse to present the world from the view of someone unfamiliar with it, like those amnesiac protagonists who were everywhere in the 2000s.

But even though I really dislike those tropes, the world itself can be interesting. I loved Escaflowne back then even though I felt Hitomi brought nothing worthwile to it.

The only light novels I've read are Spice and Wolf, Kino no Tabi / Beautiful World and Haruhi Suzumiya, all three being great. Although Kino is no longer published so if you want the physical edition you'll have to be a millionnaire.

Sket Dance, Spice and Wolf, and Bacano.

Not sure if Sket Dance counts but its an underrated trio of students who go around trying to help others.
