I'm sorry for your loss. I also have a Tabby cat that was a stray when I met her. She's become a large part of my life. I'm glad you were able to rescue him, and spend that time together. I bet he was a very happy cat when you brought him home.

Thank you everyone for your kind words. I'm still in sorrow but conforted that Teddy was surrounded in life and in passing by people who loved and remembered him. I've just returned from his sending off and added a small album of his 😭💞🐱

Teddy is lucky to have met you. Wish him sweet life in heaven with other cats and congrats for all what you did for him

Whenever a beloved pet passes away, I feel that some solace should be taken in the fact that they were loved, and they knew that. In Teddy's case, he got 15 years of love from you. Take care. :(

They become part of our family. I'm glad for him that he was with you his last time, so while it's sad he's gone, it's nice he wasn't alone.

Thoughts & condolences for your loss, it's never easy to say goodbye to our little ones regardless of how short or long they've been with us. My family has had more than a few strays/neighbourhood cats come through our lives and you should feel contented that he chose to spend his last quality time with your family, they know when they're onto a good thing 😀. He certainly looked like a happy contented little chap. RIP beautiful Teddy.
