Dsc is Happy. (six hours left for Giveaway)

Yup yup yup, Dsc is very happy at the moment.

It's been a good week or so. I'm getting a bit of a raise at work, and I'm going on another small vacation to visit Kris(my girlfriend), and it's a paid vacation! I even have a new phone coming in the mail in a few days.

Today has been a pretty good day as well. I won a giveaway, I got an item I've been farming for in WoW, and Kris and I have built even more onto our awesometastic Minecraft house!

To share my happiness a bit, here's a really fun game!

Okie dokie! I took several screenies of it just for you :D

Be warned though, it's nothing fancy.

This is the front of the house. To the left is a little stable thing that just has some hay bales in it.

Another Angle

The inside of the house is actually nothing special, we kind of neglected it. This is a dining room

Here is the kitchen. That's more or less it for the inside of the house, the rest of our stuff is in the basement

I extended the hill the house sits on quite a bit, and it was Kris' idea to turn the open space into a basement

The basement has all of our furnace stuffs

The mushroom was added just today. I was screwing around and wanted to show Kris giant shrooms and she loved it and kept it. I added the vines to it

Bookshelves! I wish I had this many in real life

I like our bed

I admit, I cheated to get the squid in there, but c'mon, squid tank!

That's pretty much it for the house.

Kris really took a liking to messing with coloring wool, so I made this to cheer her up when she was having a bad day the other day.

It contains one of every color of sheep

Fucking exquisite house. I'm envious of your determination. I usually just build a practical hill fort in a place theoretical invaders would have trouble assailing. Your house is something to be proud of.

P.S. How did you transport the squids to their tank?

I'll admit, I cheated and just used spawn eggs. I don't normally do that, but I really really wanted a squid tank.

Oh, no shame there. I think it would be a logistical miracle if you actually managed to transport the squids in some "practical" way.

Nice! Although I find phones over 4 inches kinda too big to be comfortable. I figured I'd get a 7" Android tablet and be done with it. Anyway, have fun with your new device! :D

Yeah, I'm not too much for bigger phones, but if it's gonna have to be a touch screen phone I'd prefer it to be bigger since it makes it easier to use the keyboard. I fail at life when it comes to using a touchscreen keyboard XD

I hear ya. I still love my SE Xperia Mini Pro with physical QWERTY keyboard :D

But the screen thing is true: last weekend I tried my friend's Alcatel Idol (5") and Huawei y300 (4"), and Alcatel was much more comfortable to write with. What I didn't look for in the y300, though, was the g300 (also Huawei) feature of a QWERTY keyboard moved to the side so you can write with one hand. That's great.
