You must study though, man. :/ To avoid getting bored when studying, I usually reward myself with something (food, game, etc.) when I have finished reading a specific amount of pages.

yeah I try to do the same.. but I always plan to start studying about a week before the exam and end up starting a day or 2 before, so it's alot of stress everytime :P

arts :D ..the main topic of the exam is deconstructivism
it's convenient cause I can decide, which artists I wan't to talk about, so it's at least a bit interesting for me :P

Study is a work to push the knowledge to the brain.
Brain must be damaged. It's stressful.

thanks ! :)
...I managed to get through 13 years of school without studying alot, so this should be doable too :P

thanks :)
I tried that a couple of times for other oral exams or talks I did in school, but it didn't help much
I'm just happy when it's over and I hope I don't have to repeat the class, cause then I have to do it again in one year :D

glad to hear I'm not the only one :D
alot of my classmates said they started studying two weeks ago and a few hours each day
..so I'm kind of freaked out right now :P

A-levels = Abi?

Good luck buddy, i will have some tests next week so i kinda know a bit about this stress.

I do think that oral exams is the easiest one, cuz you have more freedom to show your knowledge that way (compared to write exams).
Comment has been collapsed.
yeah.. but my problem is that when I get nervous I tend to forget important stuff and don't say anything :o
in written exams I have more time to overthink and correct my answers

Yeah I know that feeling :( . when I passed my finals, my classmates and I training together. The othvo remember what to say, to train your oral performance and the other can tell you where you make a mistake or what verbal tic you have to avoid etc, and by being 2 or more, you have less chance to procrastinate but, procrastination is life I know :'( . Well I wish you good l... wait in my country we never say this sentence, we say " I tell you shit" (approximative translation) XD

for me there are no students in the back.. but I'll still feel uncomfortable :o

this is how i do it:
i set up a 20 minutes timer and in these 20 minutes i'm completly concentrated and let nothing distract me. after that i can have a small break but usually i do another 20 minutes session
it's easier to split it into small parts than having a mount of paper in front of you

hmm.. I could try that for the exam next week, thanks :)

I found that making sure I allowed enough time to sleep the night before, and then doing something completely unrelated on the day of the exam made me relaxed me and helps my recall when I finally start the exam

yeah.. I tried to get enough sleep last night, but I woke up way too early and can't get back to sleep now :(

I can not give any advice because I feel really bad when I speak in public
yes I can, it is to wish you all the luck possible :D
Thinking it carefully, responding in this thread, I am contributing to your distraction ... you should blacklist me for be inconsiderate !! :O

Although it worked alright up to now, I'm really worried I'm gonna fail, especially because I get extremely nervous talking infront of ppl
