Steam discovery queue - more card than I expected

So after doing that discovery queue to get my daily 2 free cards something weird happened I got 14 cards instead.
Was this intended to happen or a bug of sort?

And when I clicked the "How do I earn card drops" on the badge page this is what it say

Cards earned through purchases:
Cards earned by voting during The Steam Awards: 12
Cards earned by completing your Store Discovery Queue: 2

Just found it confusing since the steam awards was from last sale I think and we were already given some free cards in that event.

There is simply no reason to buy/rent/whatever a couple more servers for a higher load in a time frame of a couple hours.

It's not like I can read the rules, when the store breaks down in every 4 out of 5 requests. It's annoying, I think I'll go and buy something at Origin now, just because I can.

In short : stickers are shit and useless. Can't sell/buy them. Only for you to use an decorate your beautiful sticker album (which is horrible).

Okay, thanks. The whole sale, is kinda useless. It's going on for more than two hours now, and I still can't even access the homepage. All I wanted to do is check out if there's anything worth buying to make use of that Paypal voucher, but I guess the voucher's reached it's maximum use before I can even have look. Guess I'll just shop somewhere else.
