So.. Did any of you support the HEX kickstarter?

I know i did, and for more money than i originally planned :D

I played MtG for years and the drawback was always the huge moneysink of the cards. HEX seems a cheap (for some free) experience to enjoy a card game. And its even more than a simple card game, with pve and pvp, dungeons & raids, drafts, guilds, you name it. I just think this has the potential to last a long time and be a gamechanger when it comes to card games in general.

So what lvl did you pledge? Or what didnt you like about it?

Its funny that everyone hates preorder incentives, yet they'll do a kickstarter with incentives on how much you spend. Hypocrisy at best.

With the difference being that pre-orders happen after a game is finished or atleast has a release upcoming. With kickstarter there is no such guarantee as the thing ever being released. In my case i saw it as a chance to get a discount on a game that i was going to play anyway, so i took it :)

Gave that one a pass, though if I could've thrown money at it as an actual investor I'd have definitely done so.
Why pass? I've played too many digital CCGs lately (mostly mobile), and none of them seem to get it right enough for me. Usually, they'll turn into micropayment-domination games and I don't really expect Hex to be any different. Still, it looks nice, and their promo video was great. :)
