Have you considered buying a secondhand videocard?
Last year I got an used Asus HD 7870 for 80€ in excellent condition from a friend of my cousin's (it cost more than 300€ when it came out). I've been playing most of the heavy games from 2011-2013 I have without an issue (some examples: Crysis 2, Battlefield 3, Metro: Last Light, Tomb Raider, Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor). I don't know how it goes with more recent games, but I don't have the money to buy them, so the problem doesn't exist :D
Maybe you should try and ask some friends.

Depends to GPU
i3 can lose around 20- 40% FPS compared to i5
Examples in Wither 3

Future games are will be more demanding from CPU side ;)

I would go with this configuration:
€51,00 - HX316C10FBK2/8 - Kingston 8GB, DDR3, 1600MHz, CL10, Kit of 2, HyperX Fury Black
€73,00 - BX80646G3258 - Intel Pentium G3258 (3.2GHz, 3MB Cache, LGA1150)
€29,90 - FD-CA-CORE-1000-USB3-BL - Fractal Design Core 1000, USB 3.0, Black
€95,90 - MZ-75E250B/EU - Samsung 850 Evo, 250GB
€54,00 - CP-9020101-EU - Corsair 450W, CX450M, 80+ Bronze, Modular
€64,88 - B85M-G43 - MSI B85M-G43
€140,00 - GV-N1050OC-2GD - Giga Byte GeForce GTX 1050, 2GB, GDDR5, OC
In total: €508,68, keep in mind that these are my local (Latvia) prices.
Cpu may seem weak for some, but it's dual core and single core performance is pretty high (cpubenchmark score for single core is 2165). When the time comes for upgrade, you can upgrade cpu, memory and aditional hdds without problems.

Assuming prices higher than normal you might want to go for amd processor so that you have enough money for better graphics card. Something of under 500$ build according to pcpartpicker:

If you build on 500€ budget, don't buy an i5, but an i3-6100+H110 motherboard instead and get a proper GPU. It can feed a 1060 without a problem.
What I'm currently running is basically a budget build, Z170 motherboard, because I do overclock:
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z170-HD3P
CPU: Intel Core i3-6100
CPU Cooler: SilentiumPC Fera 2 HE1224
GPU: MSI GeForce GTX 970 Gaming 4G
RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury Black 8GB (2x4GB) DDR4 2666MHz
PSU: Seasonic M12II-520 EVO

Hey guys,
I want to buy a new computer, because my old one is, you know, old. :D
I live in Serbia, prices here might be higher than the most of the countries.
So which PC should I get for gaming for 500-600€?
I'm thinking about something like:
i5 CPU
8GB RAM
1TB HDD
(I'm not sure in which videocard is good at this price range)
And a giveaway !
Thank you all!
