Spring Cleaning Event Help !

Hey guys,
I have a problem about a Project part of Steam Cleaning Event. I guess i am missing something because i can't complete this project.
Name:
Blast From The Past.

Once i start the game it returns an error message and the game itself doesn't run after that message. Fortunately the process starts and steam sees me like currently i am playing Dark Messiah of Might & Magic but that doesnt complete the project,
The text bellow the name of the project says:
"Play the first game you added to your Steam account, excluding last year's game Dark Messiah of Might & Magic."
Well..according to my "View licenses and product key activations" the second game after "Dark Messiah of Might & Magic" is "DustForce". Runing it also doesn't complete the project. I just don't have any more ideas how this project to be solved.

Any suggestions anyone ?

Do you tried restart the steam client? Sometimes that's the problem (I don't have other ideas for this)

Its looking for the multiplayer version which has a different app id. According to SteamDB its 2130 instead of 2100.
If its that important for you to get them all you can use one of many steam idling programs or SAM to appear to be in the correct id to trigger its completion.
Edit: malabagaa got the right id.

Yep. Indeed the text on the picture suggests multiplayer version of the game but once clicked it redirects me to the single player version. Steam event management done "right" :). Since the badge requires 15 of 17 tasks done..most probably i would skip solving this issue. Still..thank you for solving it ! :).

Looking at your image seems like a dlc for the game.
after a quick search, could it be the multiplayer version of the game? https://steamdb.info/app/2130/

Afaik you need only 15/17 tasks for the highest badge. So even if you can't fix this you won't miss anything.

15/17 for the highest badge, but I think, that 17/17 gives some more extra goodies.

You can use SAM to simulate that you're playing the game/dlc

Yep. Seems to me like the situation yesterday, no change in the picked games and such. So I guess we'll have to wait some time for Steam to change the games and then it will work.
