I've finished quite a lot of games these two months, most recent being 2 Telltale games - Minecraft and Game of Thrones, and Tomb Raider 2013. I've started getting into Telltale games now after watching my boyfriend play through walking dead seasons 2 and 3. Guess the next one I'm going for is Wolf Among Us :)

If you like story focused adventure games, definitely check out the Telltale games. A Wolf Among Us and Tales from the Borderlands are the best two, imo, but The Walking Dead series is also really good and I really liked Game of Thrones as well (it felt just like playing through an un-aired episode of the show).

How old is your laptop? I'm just surprised because the system requirements for The Walking Dead are a processor made within the last 14 years, 3GB of RAM, and a video card with 512 MB VRAM. If your laptop can't run it, it must be ancient.

Do you have a laptop cooling mat? I could recommend (if such things are allowed here) something like the targus chill mat--I found it helped tremendously with frame rate once the machine wasn't overheating

Also, my favorite game of 2018 is Hollow knight. I am still in the process of playing it, but the atmosphere and the gameplay are amazing.
