Fun is subjective. And generalization wont do you any good.

Type demos in console when you play CS, it will disconnect all cheaters.

Those who cheat in online games do it because they won't be caught, or at least there are no serious ramifications for their misdid.
If any of them tried to cheat outside, on a football field, park even card table or any other playground they would be most likely get bitten up by opposing team/opponent, in some cases even from teammates too.

For those who are angry/violent after lost match, there is no cure.... They never played games for fun to begin with. Yes, you can get pissed of at your teammates in competitive game, for lack of communication or general "assholery", but if you come to play for fun, you'll try to find better match as soon as possible, then waste time arguing and getting even more irritated.

No game is that good to stay trough torture, as soon as you stop having more fun then pure frustration, leave it or find selected group of friends to play with, same as you did at playground as a kid.

I pity them when I see them. I feel sorry for them. If they never play normally and lose, they will never learn how to play. And they will always have to resort to hacking to get the scores that will satisfy them...

I'd say because of 'Vanity'. Some people just need to have that pointless top-hat or be that arbitrary n°1 so as to have the impression of existing. But since they are mostly low level scum they resort to cheating. What they don't realize is that we don't give shit. So I'd say continue ignoring those people or make them realize how pathetic they are.

Life is only about winning thus I only play games to win. You live life only once so go out winning. But understandable if you play for fun like in your case thread creator you probably live life to the fullest.

I play games to win, not just for fun. The main idea to compleat the game. For example almost all NESgames had no save option, it was one way /=) win or lose. If u can not win ? Cheat!

Bots are time effective in mmo games. Some times i feel as korean gaming bot grinding mmorpg for day n night.

But i dont use bots in games, just bugs, cheats and guides.
In real life all the same. Make peope work for u and take profit. Cheat on global markets to live in wells.
Its up to u how to live, dont blame others.

It's basically the same, "4fun guys" and cheaters, both groups ruin games to others.

When it comes to competitive game they are cunts who find spoiling others game fun. In some game they cheat to make grinding or obtaining achievements easier. The latter was ( and probably is still) really common in Payday 2, although one might say that it is harmless, I consider it as annoying activity due to no satisfaction upon finishing a match and obviously lack of challenge. Fortunately it has been a while since I encountered cheaters, possibly because I stopped playing that game a good few months.

As for me I play to win or just for fun depending on the game, but I can't imagine cheating in any games, even singleplayer ones. Not only is it not fun for me, but also risky to download some shite from unknown sites. When there are in-game build cheats, I cannot imagine using them for more than 20 minutes, as they make everything tedious.

Remember when you turned on all the cheats in (GTA:SA, Goldeneye, Gmod, whatever the hell you played as a kid) and went around absolutely pwning every NPC on the map? Yeah, it's fun.

So cheating and rekking everyone is technically fun, although it's malicious and gets you banned.

People are very rude with this generation. I see so many people making a complete as out of themselves all the time. I play CS:GO everyday, and I always find people being so rude. There's plenty of people who hack on there, but you can't always tell and it's so stupid. I mostly play casual, and the fact that so many people hack on that mode just so they can win & probably brag to people makes me mad. You get nothing but just practice out of casual. It's not competitive(which people still hack on those, it is absolutely ridiculous), so they're just doing it for the pure win. Some people hide it well, and others don't even care and will straight up say "I'm hacking", as if they just are BEGGING to be VAC banned. The amount of people the cheat is terrible. I play to have fun and try my best so I can get better. Honestly, I'm utterly afraid to cheat, as I don't want a single bad record on my Steam profile, and I like to play fair. I just want to know what goes on in people's minds when they cheat. A friend of mine once used cheats in casual (barely used them, it's more like testing them) JUST so he would be able to tell when somebody is cheating so he could report them. The fact that he had to do that for 'justice' is utterly disturbing. It seems people have no self respect in front of anyone these days. People will just go willy nilly, throwing themselves about and doing whatever pleases them. That is NOT how society is supposed to act. And the thing is, it's not just teenagers! There are children who do it, and there are adults, to! You would think they should have SOMEBODY there to teach them right from wrong, but apparently people aren't there anymore. People need more respect for themselves and for other people nowadays. If they seriously think that resorting to cheating in a game mode that is supposed to be fun, then there's obviously some issues i their mind right there. And yeah, it's not just CS! It's in SO many games! people just want to win, win, win! Why can't they have fun? They ruin everyone else's fun in the process! Do they not have any morals? Do they not care about what they are doing?It is bullshit that people think it's fine to just cheat to win. Fuck, people still find ways to cheat in LIFE! Like hiring a stripper every night instead of trying to find someone to love, or sleeping with their boss so they'll get that promotion. It is BULLSHIT and it is NOT FAIR. Anyone who cheats like that just to get what they want must have no good sense in anything! People just need to be taught a lesson. It just sucks that nobody' there to teach them, because a lot of these kids who do this shit were kids with shitty parents. And a portion of those shitty parents are the ones who got pregnant at a teenage age. There's these 12 year olds getting pregnant nowadays, and it is HORRIBLE!! HEY ARE KIDS FOR FUCKS SAKE! What the fuck is wrong with their parents, letting them do this shit?! When I was 12, I didn't even know what sex was! And now, those 'parents' at such a young age, are ruining their children's lives! And those children are going to start to ruin ours! God, people are just so shitty in general, it's incomprehensible. I just hate people in general. The social world is going to shit.
