unlikely - because how do they distinguish "potato devs" from countless normal indie devs? They would have to mqanually check and curate every game that is going to be added to steam. Atm there are 20-50 games published on Steam per day, way over a hundred published every single week. It would require a lot of manpower to curate all these games. And Volvo proved in the past multiple times that they are not willing to hire more staff to do things right.

i stopped entering the gleam GA's anyways, they hijack peoples twitter accounts and do mass tweets and get them locked for using automated tweets anyhow, i still have not gotten my twitter account back from the last time they got me locked out.

Re-tweeting is a far cry from your account getting hijacked and doing mass tweets. I have been doing gleam giveaways ever since they started and never had this issue. One tweet per action is all I have ever seen. You must have a setting wrong that is allowing them to tweet on your behalf or you got hacked.

Wrong, you did it. You used twitter only in that purpose. Retweeting tweets only that seems automated will get your account banned, because you acted more like a bot then like a real human. So the solution was to post daily and normal tweets, that doesn't look like bot spam. If you did it, you would get along with retweets as major tweets would be normal.

I wish that they could get rid of Digital Homicide

I'm still hedging my bets and hoping DigiHom will wreck themselves on the lawsuit vs. Jim Sterling. Or Romine vs. Stanton as it goes, because for some bizarre reason they decided to file it as person vs. person instead of business vs. business. I'm no legal expert, but as far as I can understand the paperwork DigiHom are doing everything they can to undermine their own case. So that'll probably end with the judge accepting Sterling's motion to dismiss, the case getting thrown out accordingly, and DigiHom getting the bill for all expenses, possibly including a fine for trying to start a frivolous lawsuit.

I want to live long enough to see it happening!
Luckily, they wouldn't even be able to use the "money" from Steam Trading Cards to pay!

This is why I don't feel bad about owning Digital Homicide games and selling the cards. I know all that money is just going to end up going to Jim Sterling after the dismissal and probable countersuit. Romine really blew it by not suing as the corporation, because now his own name and personal assets are attached to the case. Suing as a corporation would have limited any retaliation to Digital Homicide's essentially nonexistent assets instead of including Romine's own bank account, paychecks, and potentially even property.

Isn't Dig. Homicide a dev team too which is why gleam gave the group a free pass?

Yes, according to their new TOS only devs are now allowed to give away keys to their games.

Hmm... I don't know enough about this to have an opinion if it's good or bad, but I'm just here to bump the topic. :D

Finally. Even they have the decency to ban those scumbags and here we are with Original group still thriving. #CGbanthemalready
