Gleam killing off (almost) all Steam game giveaways

What a relief to leave from a crapload of useless(at best) and/or mafia style/exploiting-the-system groups.

Free Games Info is, anyway, founded as a group to post about giveaways. And the first group was banned for promoting Tremor Games link and sharing those giveaways (times when Valve used to banned groups... like with Who's Gaming Now first group). Later we did it on Facebook page, and when Gleam become a thing, we created another Free Games info group, with those !!! at the end of the name.

We will still post other giveaways: Indie Gala, DLH.NET (well, looks like they are hacked, but I think they will get back), GrabTheGames, Bundle Stars, etc...

Also, we are currently giving Freebie with godankey, which I assume most of you have already: http://www.freegamesinfo.net/freebies/

Not sure if there will be interested developers to give keys, when they can't get followers and traffic in return.

I anyway, plan to focus more on blog, youtube, game development (yesss, some of us will indeed become those) as I mostly joined those giveaway thing to hangout with devs, and learn from them. So not a big deal, part of me is very happy this ended, so I can focus on other things.

good. i have nothing against free games. but the gleam-spam was just too much. glad it's more or less over.

yay, and suddenly I only have 150 Steam Groups instead of 640 :D:
