Region locked gift

Guys, I got a gift (Dark Souls: Prepare to Die Edition) but it's region locked and I can't activate it on my account. Is there anything I can do? Do you know if steam support is able to exchange it for a normal version?

They wont exchange it. You could try to trade it but I wont give u a big chance anyone wants it.
You can activate it with vpn, but thats a risk because its forbidden by steam.
