1) The $ value shown in contributor giveaways is the value of games you need to have given away on here in order to enter.

2) No. Guest passes cannot be given away. Your first step before you do anything else should be to have a serious read of the FAQ thread, which is pinned at the top of the Forum section, and also the comments below it, both of which address your questions.

If English isn't your first language, there's a chance that the FAQ have already been translated into your native language. I'm pretty sure they're already available in Russian and Polish, and possibly others.

1) Yes, you have to have contributed the listed value to enter a contributor giveaway

2) Guest Passes and Beta keys are not allowed as giveaways

1. Because it's for contributor. Basically, people who give away games - keys and steam giftable copy.

2. No, you can't give away a guess pass. Only game that will activate in steam library are allowed. DOTA2 is currently removed from the site. But Minecraft and Battlefield are allowed because of some special rule.

1. Contributors are people who create giveaways and give games to the winners. You need to contribute to join contributor only giveaways (the amount needed to join is specified on each giveaway)

2. You can't create a giveaway for a guest pass because it's not permanent, you can give them away in the forum if you like.
