Install Steam Enhacement Addon and you will always know the Russian low prices, and more stuff. Be sure to get from trustable Russian traders, 100+ rep or around, don't trade with low or 0 rep suspicious ppl because this can be a risk of getting game revoked.

Trading for it on Steamtrades is a good suggestion that was already mentioned, but adding it to your wishlist and having Steam notify you is another good way to not miss sales. There's also isthereanydeal.com, which can email you whenever something on your Steam wishlist goes on sale, but not just on Steam, which is nice.

Also keep this site in your mind just in case:
IsThereAnyDeal.com

Just like Lowis I was really surprised by the ending. ^^ In a good way.
Usually I would suggest Is there any deal? but when you click on it you can see Rust is currently only available via Steam Store, so as others have suggested you can just add it to your wishlist. Thought I would drop the link nonetheless because it's a useful site you can use to manually look up deals or create a watch list.
Have a good hunt. ;)
Edit: Arrg, I was beaten. Typed too much.

If you don't have trading keys you can try the russian site www.plati.ru. Just make sure you buy a REGION FREE / ROW copy! I got mine for 11$.

Put it on your wish list, at least if its one sale on Steam you will get an email telling you.

Really, I get them 100 percent of the time. Odd....

Use the notification system on www.cheapshark.com, it's very efficient.
You just search for RUST, then click the button.
Good luck on your quest for gaming! :D

Hey guys,
I've only recently had the pleasure of becoming a member here on SG and I've gotta say, you're some of the most awesome people I've never had the pleasure of meeting. That said, would y'all do me a favor?
Background info: Me and my sis like to play PC games together, but there aren't a lot of great co-op games we've found. However, recently, we've taken an interest in the game Rust. But two copies of Rust = $40... more than either of us wanna spend atm.
So basically what I'm asking is this. I'm horrible, just dreadful, at noticing steam sales (especially from other sites) in time to take advantage of them. But some of you are quite talented at it. If any of you notice something, would you please let me know? You can post it here or message my steam account. :) I'd be extremely grateful.
Thank you so much! :)
TLDR version: If you see Rust on sale, please let me know. :) thanks.
