Well, this is an ongoing problem for over four days now for me.

Set your profile to public, log out of SG, log out of Steam on your browser (not the client), log back into everything.
Seriously, that works. Had a pretty similar sounding error when trying to access TF2 Outpost the other day for the first time and did all that and voila it worked for me.
EDIT: :( Just checked for myself, get the same error here and my log out, log in method didn't work :(
TF2 Outpost just said 'This inventory is private' or something along those lines >:| which I thought would be closely related to the SG error.

Most of the time synch doesn't work when you have a game running on steam.

By far the most frustrating thing is, that it doesn't let me try again. It just claims that my account isn't public which is absolutely not true.

Is it just me or has the Sync Account feature been pretty much broken lately?
I'm either getting a blank page or the above error message with no option to try again.
My account is sufficiently public and synced in the past - and I haven't changed any settings since.
Is it working/not working for anyone else?
