So if you've seen my forum train, you know I'm celebrating a great first year on Steamgifts.com (and Steam lvl 100 I guess ;-)) So I put up a train on the forum with a lot of my favourite games, planned some giveaways for my groups and I also decided to a public giveaway for my favourite game (you're looking at it!). My personal fave is the first Longest Journey, I've played it shortly after release and oh man, I'm still impressed.

Yes you may! The Longest Journey is one of my favourite games ever (if not my favourite; it's the game that really got me into games, especially story-driven games). Dreamfall: The Longest Journey I enjoyed as well.. It definitely has its quirks, and some of the gameplay (stealth/fighting) is a bit annoying but the story's really amazing so just for that it's worth it..
Then came the Kickstarter for Dreamfall Chapters and I of course backed it and have played the first 4 chapters now and it's definitely amazing.. It's more like an interactive story than a game, but the story and setting is really great.. Very good experience so far, and lots of fun to see some characters again :-)

I can totally agree with you. If someone would ask me about the most important titles in my gaming history, Longest Journey definitely would be in top 3. I think I enjoyed it a little bit more than Dreamfall, but they're both amazing. I'm very glad Chapters also turned out to be good :)
