Steam Key I had lying around, it includes the base game + Gods and Kings expansion. + a scenario pack I believe.

If this has all the extra stuff you should have marked it as Civ V Gold Edition. So you probably need to make yet another giveaway. Sorry man.

It just has Civ and Scenario pack: Mongols and Genghis Khan so I'm not sure it qualifies as the Gold edition :/

If it includes Gods and Kings + extra DLCs then it is the game Gold Edition version and you should change that.

The base game, having been given away for free by GMG, will count only as a bundle game for CV if you keep it this way, plus no one with the base game will be able to join the giveaway to get the DLCs + expansion.

It just includes Civ and Scenario pack: Mongols and Genghis Khan as the extra DLC, so I'm not sure it counts as the Gold edition, and I'm not sure it'll work if you have the base game, because If I use the key on my account it says I already own Civ V :/
