In this event of mine I alluded to commenting in youtube videos and linked a music video for Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash. Those who picked up on it knew to look in the comments. Sorry it took so long, there was so many messages and I'm slowly working my way through them lol.
Took the first letter of each part = 5 letters.. tried finding a GA/Discussion/Comment that matched those letters.. Nope.
Took the first letter in each word = 8 letters.. tried it as a jidigi.. nope.
Then I saw the part about looking you up on youtube by newest so I see your most recent video on Youtube is "Cipher Monk" so I assume its a clue to apply a cipher but which one? I assume the most common one cesarian and apply that to the 5 letter and 8 letter string and retry what I did before.. nope.
Needless to say I spent far too long down that rabbit hole before seeing the message that everything I needed was in the text. Thankfully I had heard of the song before - too bad I forgot it was by blackstreet otherwise I would have been here sooner haha.
Oh wow. This feels oh so familiar with every goose chase I've been on, trying to solve many of the other puzzles people have posted over on SG.

Tried to see if it was lyrics to a song that was edited, then thought it had to do with a meme before looking at the italic words and putting them into a sentence.
The clues were good, but if I recall the format of the clues correctly it led to believe the italic text was the key... I believe the italic text was just to emphasize the song, which I immediately got, but I harped on trying to use the 8 words as a jigidi code.
8 italized words =/= jigidi code. It was a good red herring if that was the plan... otherwise it just worked out as one.
Really clever puzzle though... but uh... my text up there is sus af.
Now I wish I were more active on YouTube in the past, because I do plan on becoming more active as soon as possible, posting videos of me playing all my SG wins, and more! I could've gotten more exposure and subscribers through this train for sure.
Cipher Monk is a simple and easy puzzler, and it was fun for the 20 minutes I've played it.

Yep. You can (probably) thank Gus for asking me to add "and searching" to the puzzle. I think it would still be very possible to solve it without that addition, but I'm positive it nudged many to try and use search engines.

I've started watching the first and second seasons of the whole franchise, and I did like them, despite the cons of watching really old TV shows. I don't know why I stopped though. I shall continue at once! π
But that's quite a challenge though, to go through that many seasons! I only watched a few of the older ones that were mentioned around the 50th anniversary back then. They are a bit slower :P

By the way, this was something I've wanted to do for the community train, but I postponed it too much until it was no longer rational to do it.
