Here's one thing my brain always gets wrong about me. My brain always thinks I am going to have the patience to take one of those games where it's not clear what's going on, or what this gadget is, or whether this is a game at all or if it's just some sort of odd visual toy made by some weirdo dev and stuck on Steam for no reason - AND THEN SOLVE ITS PUZZLES.
The truth is I'd like to think I have that sort of restless relentless intellect, but in fact I'm much more likely to poke at it a couple of times, decide it's not a game after all, forget about it, and go play something that already is a game, with rules I can easily figure out. It might be different if I had more time or didn't live in an achievement-oriented town. It's true that I love the idea of playing a game where the first step is to figure out if it's actually a game at all, and if so what rules it might have. But at this stage in this season? I'm not going to play it.
So it's much better up here, where you can win it and YOU can play it. This comes from an old key, just revealed now.

I get frustrated pretty easily with puzzle games, leave for a while, then come back at it.
