Although im quite sure that it won't have any effect on your chances to win, i do know from experience that SG isn't really all that great at getting back to you, when you need help, i myself have over 15 times tried to get help from their support and to this day haven't heard a word. Really the best way to go about it is contacting a mod or one of their support personally through steam.
