it's honestly a lot of work to blacklist bots and it will kill your time. for the sake of filtering out those users in public giveaways, it's not worth the time.
you will run out of blacklist spots before you catch all of them anyway... eventually. especially if you keep doing low level giveaways. lvl4 has only 9000 users, though.
