Description

Recommend me some good Visual Novels please!

I see you have both fault milestone one and fault milestone two side:above in your library, but apparently left them untouched.
I recently played the first one, and it was a good read!
I cried a lot after about halfway, and I'm not even an overly emotional guy!
If you like anime and mistery, you should give it a try!

Thanks for that, funny story about why they are untouched.

I got Fault Milestone 2 as a gift for Christmas from a friend who assumed I had Fault Milestone 1... then only yesterday did I get Fault Milestone 1, I have now got both installed and I'm preparing to play!

You're welcome!
If you want to know how much does it last, it's 6 hours long.
And it's a kinetic novel (the kind of VN with no choices).

if my heart had wings (+restoration patch, which adds 18+ aka hentai scenes, but vastly improves the translation)
clannad, corpse party, danganrompa, The devil on g-string, the fruit of grisaia
All of which are on steam, but here's a list of recommended ones which might not be on steam

I see Katawa Shoujo and Saya no Uta are in that list mentioned above, but I'd personally recommend them
The soundtrack alone for the former is beautiful, the writing/animation is nice, and the characters are lovely ;-;
Saya no Uta is a fairly brief vn you could finish in a day, has an unsettling and macabre atmosphere you'd probably enjoy (since you like Higurashi :P)
Also School Days, to name a classic, has a great many routes, several of which also get pretty pretty dark 'xD
Long Live the Queen (on Steam) is a pretty fun vn/queen-simulator game on Steam
And Gaokao.Love.100.Days (also on Steam), have heard a lot of great things about, just haven't gotten around to playing it yet (this summer thoughhh)

Actually never heard of either! I have heard of School Days!

I am a Higurashi fan, could you tell ;), however I like a wide range of styles, hoping for a Steins;Gate appearance on steam at some point in the near future!

Hopefully soon, then I could finally get around to playing it (too lazy to get it by other means)
And it was just more of a wild guess than anything ;p

Well, the best ones imo were mentioned:
Danganronpa 1 and 2
Fruit of Grisaia

btw Danganronpa 1 and Grisaia both have anime series.

I could also recommend Higurashi (when they cry), but it has only 2 chapters in steam and lacks actual gameplay =(. So you'd have to download it somewhere to play all the chapters.
Cho Dengeki Stryker was also highly recommended by my friends but I haven't tried it yet =(

UPD: I didn't notice your profile pic when wrote this :D so probably you don't need that When they cry recommendation hahaha
