You can set you gifts to be invisible even if you have open inventory.

I have many games in wishlist because that way it's simple to check games with discount right now.
So that fact is not 100% against giveaway creator :) But yeah, people may find it strange.

It's fine, you just trusted people more then I did. 3 tears ago (june 2013), I "won" Tomb Raider, which was pretty new game then (I think it wasn't on any discount yet). One guy created giveaway for 2 copies of Tomb Raider and I was "lucky winner" of one copy. Sadly, it was fake, he never sent any copy of those and it kinda killed my mood to make more giveaways myself. I feel sorry for guy who "won" this giveaway, he probably feel same or worst as I felt 3 years ago... :(

Same here, didn't get my copy of Torchlight some time ago. Feels awkward.

I don't trust people either but at the same time I don't want to discourage people in creating giveaways.
Sometimes you can see right away that things are really suspicious but at the same time I saw few new guys this year who started with AAA giveaways and now they are like level 7 or even more. And they were distrusted too at the start.

Yepp, it will certainly hurt to not receive a GTA V =\
