Hi, The key you sent me was actually for The Slaughtering Grounds, a very different game. This will make it look like I have not activated!!

I check it , and if I confuse The Slaughtering Grounds with The Slaughter," ....."you already active the key",, enjoy it

I am ok that got game but can you contact Steam Gifts Support and let them know what happened. Currently the way it stands means that it shows I have not activated a game and that looks bad on my acct. Would be good if you can get them to change the GA to Slaughtering Grounds or clean my acct of the violation and then I will tag received :)

Hi, I have heard back from support. The low down is that you either.
1) Give the right key
2) Ask for the GA to be deleted
I have to mark as not received otherwise I get negative stats against my account.

Actually you are wrong. Being ungrateful has nothing to do with this. If you win a game and do not register it that is recorded on your account. People will then blacklist you because of this. If I also later got a key for the game and gifted it forgetting about this it could get me banned from SG
This is why I have acted as I have. The support people of steam gifts told me this is what I should do. As I said, contact them and get the giveaway changed o the correct game and then I can mark received, if this is done I am more than happy to mark received.
If you are not able to understand the position I am in then you do not understand the rules of the site!
