It could be his subtle way of challenging me to give until it hurts, maybe it's just extra spite, perhaps it's just his default gifting level. In any case, someone's getting a neato game and through some loose connection I was a part of it. That's good enough for me, blacklists be damned!
In all honesty, it's the best case scenario in the narrative that I'm a poor, greedy piece of shit that wouldn't bother wasting his ever abundance of Steam inventory to give back.
Someone "made a giveaway for me," so now "I get to give away a game." Even if it's just to make me look bad or whatever, someone's going to benefit from it.
I'm into it. As a matter of fact, this is getting added to the discussion. I may not have given much, but my discussion at least spawned some chatter and this giveaway!
Love the idea of this giveaway. Its like dangling a carrot to incentivise Jordanlol to make giveaways but I don't see him reaching level 4 in time to enter a giveaway made for him. Welcome to my whitelist :-)
See? I thought the same! Pretty good incentive to level up. I honestly don't mind being made the example if it brings some awareness to a touchy subject.
Just thought I'd drop by somewhere less public to say that I haven't quite made it to lvl 4 yet (still would've missed this) but I'm proud to say I'm about to hit lvl 3 whenever they decide to mark as received! :D
The way folks were talking about it, it seemed like it was going to be more arduous of a task but I suppose I was rather lucky to get a windfall right before a $1 per game, 50 game bundle showed up. :T

I think back to one interaction specifically in that thread. Someone challenged the validity of my poverty and it infuriated me. Someone couldn't believe that a person with a Steam account as large as mine was at the time could have no income nor eat every day... but dark times get brighter, we out here thriving. I think about these things to keep me moving forward.
