It's been a while since my last contribution, but time has been very limited, sorry! It's time to at least give the extra keys I have from Humble's Beamdog collection. The winner will get a gift link.
You might want to consider giving out the keys instead of gift links. There have been reports in the past about Humble flagging accounts as traders and thus limiting their ability to purchase games and bundles after using the gift link feature multiple times with recipients from all over the world.
Well, didn't know this and I already messed the last GA 2 times. I will either try and change it after it ends or, worst case, submit a ticket to Humble if I get that flag.
I think you can change this before sending it to the winner. Not 100% sure since I never did gift links. I don't know if a ticket to Humble would help, if it actually happens. They probably don't make a difference between trading and SteamGifts. Good luck anyways! :)
If you've created a gift link then it is easy to get the key by claiming it for yourself. You will get an email and the key will be added to your HB account.
You can easily edit the key field of the GA after it has ended, before sending to the winner.
When creating the GA you can put a key or a HB gift-link in the 'key' field (there is no dedicated gift-link field). Before sending to the winner you can edit the same field, either to replace the key or the gift-link.
Its been awhile since I've seen a Humble Gift link discussion... Seemed to be more focused on people buying multiples of a bundle and using gifting as the main delivery method.
The latest with Humble is they may or may not have any available keys for the bundle you paid for when they oversell. Yet still sell it in the Humble store.
I had one that took over a month before a key was available. Some people had several months of wait for a bundle key.
I had no problem with Humble before (1 or 2 bundles a year).
I have not purchased a bundle since, if I do, I'll reveal the keys immediately rather than waiting.
Occassionally, I win a HB giftlink on SG, no problems ever from my experience limited experience there.
Sorry, i did not understand correctly, if you were gifting, you would have problems gifting, thats why the region lock, right? Or are the keys region locked?
And if it is about the gift and you could edit it on the giveaway, are you able to remove the region lock? I'm curious about this :D

After I created the links, I was prompted that the key can only be redeem in specific countries. I started comparing that list with the one suggested by SG. I picked some of the items from ISO codes, checked both and in all the times SG's suggested list matched the one from Humble
