It's a humble bundle key I have left. I hope it's a working key, because sometimes humble bundle says that a game has not yet been redeemed even if it was and there is no way to check besides acivating the key.
Actually Humble Bundle doesnt say that key is redeemed unless you have opened it already, there's no exceptions. If you have opened it once and you know you use your opened keys, then it's probably used unless you yourself didn't copy and paste it into Steam. Thanks though.
You can check the key yourselves by adding it as you already own the game on steam. You will get a error message accordingly and you'll get to know wheter the key is still active.
If a person enters, then wins, and the key doesn't work, then they end up with a negative inactivated win and you end up with not received feedback. It is a lose-lose. I already had that happen to me once, so I am not going to enter.

At my last Awesomenauts giveaway, the humble bundle page told me that the key has not been redeemed yet but it was invalid in the end.
